The Cinderella story of the science based Ritual, ANS deliver with their hyped pre-workout

Review of ANS Performance's pre-workout Ritual

The story of ANS Performance and their supplement Ritual goes all the way back to January of this year. We first began promoting news from the brand a few weeks before that, with word coming straight from the team that there would be a pre-workout formula soon. At first we were a little skeptical as the claims were a combination of things we would usually shy away from. However we continued communication which consisted of a large amount of promises that weren’t exactly believably until the first preview of the formula.

Over the weeks Ritual’s highlights were leaked, the hype began. What was originally enough to power some of the most respectable pre-workouts on the market, turned out to be a fraction of the ANS supplement. Citrulline, caffeine, dendrobium, creatine, astragin. The product had it all, and when the final facts panel was released. It marked the first time in the history of pre-workouts that a supplement gained all it’s attention from a single banner.

There is always the argument that a product could surprise you, turn out to be much more than it appears, or much less than it appears. Although throughout the production of Ritual, that doubt never really appeared. Whether it was because of ANS’s straightforward honesty, or their almost unbelieveable predicted retail price. Whatever it was, it kept fans interested, competitors scared, and saw BB.com’s stock at zero in Ritual’s first week of release.

The question throughout wasn’t if Ritual would perform, but how powerful it’s performance would be. It had the potential, we were all just dying to know what something like this could do. Finally here today is the ANS Performance Ritual review.

Something that may not come as a surprise to you is that the supplement works. Not only that, it delivers an experience unlike anything else. The boxes the pre-workout ticks are, energy, focus, pump, and intensity. Of the four, the one that almost drowns out the rest is intensity. Ritual will have you hitting rep after rep, turning your downtime into seconds, and see you pushing up the weights every set. The hard hitting energy works overly well in combination with the intensity. Giving you that rush of power. So that when it comes down to the last rep there is no slow movement, no struggle. Ritual makes you give it your all leaving nothing in the tank to put the bar, handle, or weight down gently.

As for the pump, it is very similar to the effect in Black Market’s AdreNOlyns, something you may only recognize when you stop for a second and look in the mirror. Unfortunately due to the overwhelming amount of focus, you can’t stop and take pictures. Your mind is set on one thing, you hear every beat of your music, every gram hit the ground, every breath, and you don’t want to stop, you have to keep moving.

While it is unfair to compare the two, Gaspari’s Superdrive is was the best example of tunnel vision. However in light of Ritual and it’s performance, we do retract our original statement and give the single line-of-sight award to ANS. Thanks to the 20/20 focus effect, and the ego boosting pump, non-stop energy, and unmeasurable intensity. Ritual can be confirmed as one of the most complete and powerful pre-workouts currently on the market.

If we had to get picky, and we are going to since we are claiming this as one of the best products available. Despite the gourmet names, icy blue freeze and candy green apple. The flavors of Ritual are not the most desirable. In fact they are best compared to Driven Sport’s Craze and it’s original candy grape. However for one of the most intense workouts of your life, this should be no problem. The other area where the supplement falls down a pinch is it’s strength amplification. Energy and intensity aside, you will not notice an increase in low rep exercises. Which is understandable, considering it is relatively rare to see any formula touch base in that department. On the upside, most people don’t go sub 5 for any exercise, and the mind blowing energy and focus will actually have you feeling stronger on 5 or more reps as your muscles scream out for pain.

It is actually quite a relief to see Ritual come out on top and deliver where so many other hyped pre-workouts have failed. Thanks to ANS and their product’s performance, they have marked one up for the industry, transforming the ‘proper dosing’ claim into something fans can once again trust. The brand already had fans with Fortitude, Dilate, and H.I.T., however they are going to reel in a helluva lot more as Ritual makes it’s way up the ranks.
