Optimum Nutrition’s light and crispy Protein Crunch protein bar

Following on from the new Burn Complex Series of supplements we posted about yesterday from Optimum Nutrition. Today we’ve got details to share for another product that’s available down under in Australia and New Zealand that you can’t find here in the US.

That other supplement is another Optimum Nutrition protein bar called Protein Crunch, that the brand launched last month. It is a Rice Krispie style protein snack similar to BSN’s Syntha-6 Protein Crisp, featuring a light and crispy main body, with a solid flavor block on the bottom and squiggles of flavor across the top.

Each bar of the Optimum Protein Crunch provides a strong 20g of protein, 12g of carbohydrates with 2g of that sugar, 7g of fat (5g saturated), for a calorie total of 221. Some of those numbers do vary slightly across the protein bar’s three flavors, with the above nutrition profile being from the Milk Chocolate Protein Crunch.

You can now buy Optimum Nutrition’s Protein Crunch in a number of places throughout Australia and New Zealand in Toffee & Pretzel, Milk Chocolate, and Peanut Butter flavors. The protein bar that only appears to be available down under can be purchased in boxes of 12 and at places like Massive Joes, it’ll cost you $44.95 (34.14 USD).
