It is that time of the year again where we get ready for our annual protein powder showdown, the Protein Wars. It is a competition where we journey to find the most popular protein powder on the market with all types of formulas in the mix from your typical whey and isolate to vegan-friendly and blend style products.
This year’s Protein Wars is the seventh time we’ve run the contest and it will be run a little differently this year. Instead of having a handful of giant groups in the first round, we’ll be letting you vote on every protein powder entered into the competition at once. The top 24 will then move on to the second round and be voted on in groups of six.
The third round is going to be two groups of three, with the winners from each of those moving on to the grand final. Each round will last an entire week with the first one kicking off on November 18th, the second on November 25th, the third on December 2nd, and the final on the 9th of December.

We have also put together another custom championship ring that’ll be unveiled in the coming weeks.
