Mars brings back one of its most unique and previously exclusive flavors of protein powder

Mars Roobios Milk Tea Whey Permanent

Earlier this year, the Taiwanese company Mars dropped a special edition bundle with a few completely new and extremely exclusive and limited flavors of its signature protein powder for the Chinese Spring Festival. It was called the Long Hoo Li La The Spring Festival Gift Box, and inside were Chocolate and Original flavors of the brand’s unique Marcoo protein snack, and sample sachets of whey protein powder in two of the most unique flavors we’d seen in a while with Mandarin Duck and Rooibos Milk Tea.

The intriguing part about Rooibos Milk Tea is that it’s a traditional South African beverage, and something MetaLab in South Africa based a flavor on a couple of years ago for its Bridge whey blend protein powder. Mars has now come out and announced that the previously exclusive and limited Rooibos Milk Tea protein is no longer exclusive or limited. Presumably, due to the success of the initial run, the brand has decided to bring back its Rooibos Milk Tea protein powder as a permanent offering, with full-size packs of 30 single-serving sachets available direct from marswhey.com at HK$450 (57.88 USD).
