Up North Labs in Norway has come a long way since starting out, steadily expanding from its retailer-backed roots with a focused catalog of advanced supplements. Its premium Whey Isolate has been a cornerstone of that lineup, and now the company is opening the door to a more affordable option with the launch of the simply named Whey, giving customers another choice in the saturated category.
The new Up North Labs Whey delivers 23g of protein per 30g serving from high-quality whey concentrate, alongside a low 2.3g of carbohydrates, well under a gram of that sugar, 1.4g of fat, and 113 calories. It is a straightforward formula, designed to be a reliable source of protein, and again, a solid alternative to Whey Isolate that still relies on a quality form of whey but at a more budget-friendly price.
Up North Labs has launched its Whey in just one flavor to start and its not your traditional chocolate, vanilla, or cookies, but Cinnamon Roll. It offers the warm sweetness of cinnamon and subtle spice all in the form of a thick and creamy milkshake. It comes in a 900g tub with 30 servings and carries a price of kr 469 (47.27 USD), 22% cheaper per serving than Whey Isolate and just 3g less protein.
