HallPass has now shown almost all of what its opening collection will look like, beginning with the Peanut Cups that introduced the David sister company’s lower-calorie candy concept, then moving to colorful Chocolatey Candy Pieces. The third and final debut product changes the experience again with Peanut Creme Crispy Wafers, adding a light, layered crunch to the chocolate and peanut-heavy better-for-you family.
The HallPass Peanut Creme Crispy Wafers sandwich a smooth peanut filling between several thin, crispy wafer layers before covering everything in a rich, milk chocolate coating. The creative functional brand fits the complete treat into a full-sized 1.5oz package that has the same nutrition highlights as the other two HallPass offerings. In an entire pack of Peanut Creme Crispy Wafers there is just a gram of sugar and 70 calories, less than a third of the likes of Reese’s Sticks which have 18g of sugar and a heavy 220 calories.
EPG once again makes those impressive numbers possible, although the more interesting accomplishment is that HallPass has now used the plant-based fat across three genuinely different formats. Peanut Cups, Chocolatey Candy Pieces, and Peanut Creme Crispy Wafers are launching in the coming week at the big box retailer Walmart, making it very easy for consumers to get their hands on the disruptive products.
