HallPass is only days away from its national debut, but the sister company of the disruptive David Protein, already has more than a single low-calorie candy experiment on its hands. Peanut Cups, Chocolatey Candy Pieces, and Peanut Creme Crispy Wafers each recreate a familiar treat with just 70 calories and 1g of sugar per package. HallPass makes use of the innovative fat EPG to still include a notable amount with significantly fewer calories.
HallPass’s three promising new treats will be available from the big box retailer Walmart individually, and as it turns out, two of them will also have resealable multipacks or share bags. The decadent Peanut Cups will have a bulk size with individually wrapped cups, 35 calories each, as opposed to the single pack of two cups at a combined 70 calories. Chocolatey Candy Pieces is also going to have larger share bag with multiple servings of 70 calories.
Being a part of the mainstream candy category with that functional twist already put HallPass in a unique position. The bulk share sizes will give the products an even smoother entry into that world, adding an option to the brand’s selection of better-for-you foods for those that end up really liking the treats or who prefer to buy at a better value.
