Introducing ‘ndulge and its Greek yogurt treat with a macro balance similar to a protein bar

Introducing Ndulge Protein Bars

Functional food rarely ventures into the freezer aisle, although that is precisely where the emerging innovator ‘ndulge is growing its reputation. The young company makes frozen Greek yogurt ice cream bars on a stick, delivering the same chilled, creamy experience as a traditional ice cream treat, rather than the all-too-familiar dense, chewy protein bar. While the product may taste like a dessert, it has plenty of protein and calorie control to remove the guilt.

The ‘ndulge Protein Bar comes with a respectable 10g of protein per piece from milk and whey, with real skim milk, cream, and Greek yogurt filling out the rest of the recipe. The rest of the nutrition does vary greatly depending on the flavor as the chocolate-covered options have 10 to 13g of carbohydrates, 3 to 4g of that sugar, 11 to 12g of fat, and 160 calories. That side of the menu includes Chocolate Caramel Almond, Vanilla Almond, and Chocolate Caramel Cookie.

Ndulge Protein Bars Close Up

As for ‘ndulge’s two other flavors, Mint Chip and Chocolate Fudge Chip, the carbohydrates sit at 12g apiece, still 4g of that sugar, a much lower amount of fat at 5g, and a calorie count of 110. That 10g of protein to 110 calories is a balance right in line with your typical protein bar. You obviously get more with the chocolate-covered creations; however, the trade-off there is very obvious, as you get a delicious-looking layer of chocolate around the outside.

Frozen protein snacks are an easy grab when on the hunt for something to boost your daily protein intake, even more so when they’re as delicious as ‘ndulge’s Protein Bar. As mentioned, the brand is still relatively young, but that hasn’t stopped it from quickly getting out there. You can find ‘ndugle and its delicious protein ice cream sticks in major retailers, including Kroger, Albertsons, Safeway, HEB, and Food Lion, with pricing of a three-pack around $6.99.
