Mars gets on the creatine train in Unflavored, Yogurt and the caffeinated Black Tea

Mars Taiwan Creatine

Asian brand Mars is typically featured and discussed for its wide range of protein powders, including whey concentrate, milk protein, plant-based powders, ready-to-drink shakes, and even delicious functional snacks, in a constantly changing assortment of flavors. The company has occasionally moved into more traditional sports supplements, such as BCAAs, and we’re seeing that again in its latest release, which is trending with creatine.

The simply named Creatine Monohydrate uses micronized creatine monohydrate for easier mixing and comes in a substantially sized 490g pouch, which gets you around three months’ worth of servings. Mars has launched the supplement in the versatile Unflavored with 98 servings, as well as two actual flavors with a lower 70 servings, with 5g of creatine per serving. As for those flavors, they are the intriguing Yogurt and a distinctly local Black Tea.

Black Tea also has a functional difference, as due to the authentic flavoring components, it has 77.3mg of caffeine in every serving, giving you the muscle-building benefits of creatine and a touch of uplifting energy. No matter which way you go, Unflavored, Yogurt, or Black Tea, despite the 29% fewer servings, you’ll pay NT$699 (21.95 USD).
