Polleo Sport creatively launches a flavor-connected pair of protein snacks

Polleo Sport Protein Peanut Cups And Peanut Wafer

Polleo Sport’s in-house snack selection already stretches well beyond the traditional protein bar, covering seemingly everything, from brownies and chips to spreads, pralines, and even its recent candy-inspired Protein Buenissimo. The European retailer continues to give that side of its business as much diversity as its supplements, and its latest move does so again, introducing the flavor-related Protein Wafer and Protein Peanut Cups.

As mentioned, the innovations are only related by taste, as they both feature that classic combination of chocolate and peanut butter. They are, as you can tell from their names, radically different in format, with Protein Wafer sandwiching peanut butter protein cream between crispy wafer layers with 12g of protein and 268 calories. Peanut Cups has two pieces per pack, each combining a creamy peanut butter filling and a thick, rich, milk-chocolate-flavored coating, for a very similar 12g of protein, less than 2g of sugar, and 282 calories.

It’s not often you see any sort of company come out with a series of protein snacks linked by flavor, as it happens a lot in powder supplements but almost never in functional foods. Polleo Sport has done precisely that in Protein Wafer and Protein Peanut Cups, which are available across the countries Polleo Sport covers, with Protein Peanut Cups priced at €1.99 each or €29.85 for 15, and Protein Wafer at €2.49 and €37.35 for a box.
