C4 goes after the taste of beer in its upcoming All Hopped Up energy drink

All Hopped Up C4 Energy Drink

C4 has taken its energy drink well beyond the usual fruit combinations in more recent years, with authentic Jolly Rancher collaborations and, of course, the one-of-a-kind cereal-and-milk-inspired Cereal Killer. Those still sit comfortably on the sweet side of the flavor menu, which is not the case with the brand’s next beverage extension. C4 Energy has previewed an all-new All Hopped Up flavor of the C4 Energy Drink, looking to recreate the taste of beer.

The brand is flat-out saying it “Tastes like beer” , an experience we just saw the legacy brand Optimum Nutrition attempt in its ready-to-drink protein, ChampionSips. There is no beer at all in the product, only the taste and C4 Energy Drink’s usual active ingredients in BetaPower betaine, CarnoSyn beta-alanine, and 200mg of caffeine. The All Hopped Up C4 Energy is hitting the market before the end of the month, on Wednesday of next week, at cellucor.com.
