H2coco and BSc combine coconut water and milk protein for a chocolate recovery drink

Bsc X H2coco Protein Chocolate Coconut Water

The coconut water hydration specialist H2coco already gives coconut water a chocolate milk-style spin with its creamy Chocolate Coconut Water, offering a sweeter take on its familiar hydration drink. It is now taking that concept further into sports nutrition with a partner that knows the category well. H2coco has teamed up with Australian legacy brand BSc for the newly revealed Protein Chocolate Coconut Water, for hydration and recovery.

The collaboration from BSc and H2coco combines a clean mix of coconut water, coconut cream, milk protein concentrate, cacao, and cane sugar. Together, they provide 25g of protein in a half-liter can, alongside a huge 54.5g of carbohydrates, 35g of sugar, 9g of fat, and 397 calories. The electrolyte content is right there with a hydration supplement at a combined 1.42g, including 530mg of potassium, 180mg of sodium, and 640mg of calcium.

That is a considerably heavier nutrition profile than BSc’s High Protein Shake, with the coconut collaboration bringing plenty of carbohydrates alongside its protein and electrolytes, again, supporting both muscle recovery as well as hydration and performance. H2coco and BSc have launched their Protein Chocolate Coconut Water at the Australian supermarket giant Coles, where individual cans will cost you $4.40 (3.13 USD)
