Latest flavor from prebiotic soda brand YASS adds a splash of natural caffeine

Green Power Yass

French beverage newcomer YASS hit a trending category right from its debut, when it launched last year with a prebiotic soda. The innovation came to market in a few bright and colorful flavors, including Pinky Lemonade, Red’n Blue Berries, Citrus Twister, and Chérie Cherry Cola. Rather than going completely sugar-free, the brand is more about having less sugar than classic soda, alongside its respectable over 6g of prebiotic fiber to help with gut health.

There is a fresh new flavor on the scene from YASS for its flagship prebiotic soda called Green Power, which surprisingly features a taste combination of strawberry and lime. To add even more standouts to the product, the brand has also given this one some extra energy from natural caffeine. The bright purple Green Power YASS drink is made with green coffee, which in turn, provides an uplifting 99mg of caffeine in addition to the more than 6g of fiber.

It’s an interesting play by YASS, to say the least, whether it’s just trying to offer something different or dip its toes into the water of energy drinks. Either way, the Green Power extension is available now in stores and on Amazon, and we imagine if it proves successful, we could be seeing more flavors of the better-for-soda get an infusion of energizing caffeine.
