Newcomer Huevo uses quality egg white protein in its dessert-inspired debut

Huevo Egg Protein Powder

Egg white has been around sports nutrition for decades, offering a complete source of protein for those wanting to leave dairy out of their shakes. It is also the entire focus of newcomer Huevo, which has just announced its arrival with a dessert-inspired protein powder. The brand, named after the Spanish word for “eggs”, is putting flavor front and center while keeping whey, casein, and lactose out of the formula.

Huevo’s debut delivers 20g of protein per serving from egg whites, with the rest of the nutrition varying slightly between flavors. The classic Vanilla is the leanest of the three options on the menu at 3g of carbohydrates, zero sugar, half a gram of fat, and 100 calories. The other two, Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chocolate, have 4g of carbohydrates, still none of that sugar, a gram of fat, and a slightly higher 110 calories.

Those three flavors make up Huevo’s opening menu, and they all have 25 full servings per tub with a listed retail price of $69.99, or about $2.80 a shake. The brand and supplement come at a great time, when the price of whey continues to remain unstable, giving room for alternatives like egg. Availability of Huevo and its reliable first product will be along very shortly through the giant online retailer Amazon.
