Max Effort reskins its protein bar for a collaboration with world champion wrestler Bo Bassett

Max Effort Muscle Bo Bar

Max Effort Muscle has been slowly but surely building out its functional food side, first with the creatine-infused Muscle Bar and more recently with its leaner, more straightforward Protein Bar. That latter snack has now become the foundation of a collaboration with wrestling star and newly crowned U20 World Champion Bo Bassett, who has partnered with the brand to introduce his own signature Bo Bar.

The compact 45g Bo Bar from Max Effort Muscle and Bo Bassett packs a moderate 16g of protein from pea isolate and collagen, although collagen is incomplete, meaning the full highlighted amount is not equivalent to 16g from the likes of whey or milk. The collaboration pairs that with 15g of carbohydrates, including 5g of fiber, 4g of sugar, and no added sugar, plus 4.5g of fat, all in a nicely controlled 150 calories.

Ingredient, macro, and flavor wise, the Bo Bar is basically Max Effort Muscle’s original Protein Bar with a special edition design featuring Bo Bassett. It comes in exactly the same three flavors with themed names in Championship Chocolate Brownie, Full Nelson Peanut Butter Fudge, and Cinnamon Swirl Takedown. The price, of course, is no different either, with a box of 12 going for $33 in the brand’s online store.
