It has been almost a year since we got our first look at MET-Rx’s High Protein Shake at NACS, where the legacy brand put a hydration twist on the familiar ready-to-drink format. Alongside its hefty 44g of muscle-building protein, the beverage features a sizeable dose of electrolytes to drive performance and recovery. That combination has now finally made its way to shelves, with the hybrid High Protein Shake officially available at Walmart.
MET-Rx’s High Protein Shake has launched in all three of its previously previewed flavors with Chocolate Milkshake, Vanilla Milkshake, and Strawberry Shortcake. Walmart is one of the first to stock the beverage with individual 14oz bottles at $3.47, with availability online through giant Amazon as well. More retailers will follow and give a wider range of consumers the chance to try MET-Rx’s mix of 44g of protein and heavy 2.5g of total electrolytes.
