Nano’s original Protein Cups brought the chocolate shell and creamy peanut butter center into its functional food family a couple of years ago, in 2024. They came as a pair of full-sized cups, much like the classic candy that inspired them but with a lot more protein and less sugar. The brand is now building on that concept with an entirely new snack that’s more for sharing in Mini Protein Peanut Butter Cups.
The miniature cups bring together that familiar chocolate outer and peanut butter filling in significantly smaller bite-sized pieces weighing just 5g each. You get 16 of them in an 80g bag, giving Nano’s latest creation a different eating experience from the original two-cup pack. Fans can have a few at a time, pass the bag around, or seal it back up for another occasion, or, of course, eat it all themselves for 22g of protein.
Nano as worked on the new functional product for eight months, refining the taste and maintaining that candy experience with high protein and low sugar. While it is a similar sort of food to the brand’s original Peanut Butter Cups, the build makes it more than just a smaller version when it comes to development. The innovation is making its way to market over the coming weeks, reaching all of Nano’s partners across the globe.
