Newcomer NYO previews its delicious cream of rice with plans to also come out with sauces

Nyo Cream Rice

Few foods have gone from a simple bodybuilding staple to a full-blown category quite like cream of rice. Its popularity comes from being an easy-to-eat and quality source of carbohydrates that can work around training or anywhere else in the day. The increasingly crowded space continues to welcome newcomers who put more and more effort into separating themselves, and you can see that right away in the upcoming NYO, which stands for Not Your Ordinary.

The all-new NYO’s flagship product and take on the growing cream of rice category is Creamy Rice, and it promises a smooth and creamy consistency in a convenient pouch of powder. Like almost every cream of rice supplement, it can be used for breakfast, as a midday source of nutrition, or something satisfying for after your workout. The product will indeed be flavored, and NYO does a great job of making each of its debut options look absolutely delicious.

The opening menu avoids the usual chocolate and vanilla pairing, with NYO and Creamy Rice instead going for Salted Caramel, a breakfast-suited Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry Muffin, and smooth Peanut Butter. They’ll all have a typical carbohydrate-heavy nutrition profile with cream of rice or rice flour at the center, and you’ll get plenty of servings per bag at 25. Creamy Rice will be launching soon, with NYO also planning to enter the world of sauces as well.
