Back in June, we shared confirmation that Red Bull was taking its next Winter Edition in a rather unexpected direction with Pistachio & Berries. It was an intriguing pairing even after previous seasonal combinations like last year’s Winter Edition, Fuji Apple & Ginger. That preview has now become an official release, giving fans the chance to find out firsthand how the nutty and fruity combination comes together.
With the launch comes a fuller description from Red Bull itself, which says the latest limited edition is pistachio and berry, plus a hint of caramel and delicate nutty notes. The caramel adds another dimension that wasn’t obvious from the original name, and looking at promotional images, the berry side is blackberry. With the past seasonal drops the iconic energy drink has done, it is both unsurprising and surprising.
The rollout of Pistachio & Berries Red Bull is now underway in Germany and Austria, with many other European markets to follow closely after. The 2026 Winter Edition will be hitting coolers in that part of the world in the brand’s signature 250ml can size in both regular and the better-for-you Sugarfree version. Pistachio & Berries is expected to go outside of Europe, although, like with most of its extensions, it will take time.
