Pure Genius entered the market at the beginning of the year with an extremely convenient idea, squeezing a full 23g of protein into a pocket-sized 100ml shot. The Mel Robbins-backed brand has since grown the original product to six refreshing flavors, and this week, instead of simply adding another, it has made its first proper line extension and introduced equally important macronutrient to the concept with Pure Genius Protein + Fiber.
The new version uses that same compact 100ml format and balances 20g of protein with 5g of prebiotic fiber from FiberSMART soluble tapioca fiber. Roughly two-thirds of the protein comes from leucine-rich beta-lactoglobulin or BLG, with collagen providing the rest plus free-form histidine, valine and tyrosine to strengthen the amino profile. The rest of the nutrition profile works out to 6g of carbohydrates, no sugar or fat, and 100 calories.
Pure Genius has separated Protein + Fiber from the six flavors of its original shot with two fresh new options in the two-part recipe Mango Banana and a smooth Orange Blast. Both are light and juice-like, require no refrigeration, and contain no artificial flavors, sweeteners or dyes. The new line is available now at $48 for 12 shots, with bulk pricing dropping as low as $3 each, and the brand has confirmed it’ll be rolling into Target shortly.
