The popular V8 brand is best known in the mainstream beverage market for its health and nutrition-focused vegetable and fruit juices. The brand from The Campbell’s Company has steadily moved closer to our side of the industry through the canned V8 Energy Drink. The brand has quickly given back to the functional drink with the five-calorie Zero Sugar extension and the limited-time Yuzu Lemon that was also infused with electrolytes.
That Yuzu Lemon release now looks like it was a test for something much bigger, as V8 has turned the concept into a complete collection and taken it outside of the can. The all-new expanded V8 Energy with Electrolytes comes in an 8oz can with 80mg of natural caffeine from black and green tea, potassium and magnesium for hydration, B vitamins, a gram of sugar, and only 10 calories. It’s almost like a blend of the Yuzu Lemon concept and the Zero Sugar V8 Energy Drink.
As mentioned, the brand hasn’t just stuck to beverage for V8 Energy with Electrolytes; it’s also made a supplement version in V8 Energy with Electrolytes Drink Mix. That has the same sort of combination with 80mg of caffeine, key electrolytes magnesium and potassium, and high levels of vitamins, all stuffed into single-serving stick packs.
Both sides of the V8 Energy with Electrolytes, the drink and powder, share the same three-piece menu of crisp Lemon Lime, tropical Strawberry Passionfruit, and smooth White Peach. It is indeed quite the launch, seeing the health and nutrition brand go from that original limited-time electrolyte hybrid to all-in with a refined formula and two formats. V8 Energy with Electrolytes is already available on Amazon and Walmart.com, with in store presence planned for 2027.
