Wheybolic Ripped is the weight-management member of GNC AMP’s long-running protein family, pairing its muscle-building base with ingredients aimed at energy and calorie burning. That combination keeps it distinct from the regular Wheybolic, even as the range has changed over the years. GNC has now reworked Ripped, increasing its protein content and adding another ingredient to its fat-metabolism formula.
The incredibly important muscle-building macronutrient, protein, climbs from 40g to 50g in a two-scoop serving of the refreshed Wheybolic Ripped, now coming from whey isolate and concentrate instead of isolate and hydrolyzed whey. The rest of the nutrition profile manages to stay impressively lean at 6g of carbohydrates and fat, low sugar, and a calorie count that does get up there thanks to the protein at 290.

The new addition to the 2026 edition of GNC’s Wheybolic Ripped is CLA at 3g, included for fat-metabolism support. Ripped retains its energy drink-like 200mg of caffeine for energy, plus 33.34mg of capsicum, 5mg of piperine, and niacin to round out its weight loss-supporting side. As with the revamped Wheybolic, Velositol and the digestive enzymes are gone, which the additions and improvements certainly balance out.
Fans do get more protein in the new Wheybolic Ripped and CLA to further strengthen the fat-burning side of the supplement, but the digestion and uptake supporters were taken away. GNC has been slowly rebuilding the protein powders from its house brand, with Wheybolic Alpha coming two months ago and Wheybolic in February. The sequel supplement will be available soon at GNC in tubs of 13 and 26 servings in four flavors.
