Fusion Pro goes from blend to 50/50 milk and whey concentrate

One of Dedicated Nutrition’s many reformulated supplements promised for this year was an all new version of their protein powder Fusion Pro. What made news of the updated product even more interesting was that the brand had called on a “world-famous ice cream company” to help them flavor the supplement. Dedicated has now released their reformulated and rebranded Fusion Pro, and judging by the menu it definitely sounds like they’ve had help from an ice cream company.

Before we get into the flavors of the new Fusion Pro we do have to go over the changes the brand has made to the protein contents wise. Firstly the serving size of the product has come down, as well as most of its macros. Starting from the top Fusion Pro now features 22g of protein instead of 24, half the amount of carbohydrates, 1.5g less fat, with 9 more calories at a total of 119. Other differences well worth mentioning include the supplement’s switch from a blend of six different proteins to half milk protein and half whey concentrate, and the removal of free form BCAAs, glutamine and creatine.

Moving on to the more exciting part of the updated Fusion Pro, we have its new menu which has had two more flavors added to it. The previous version of the product had three traditional options to choose from in Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with the classics, the supplement’s new list does sound a lot better. Replacing Fusion Pro’s straightforward originals are Choco-Tella Ice Cream, Vanilla Ice Cream, Strawberry Ice Cream, Banana Ice Cream and Cookies & Ice Cream.

You can find out more on the all new Fusion Pro on Dedicated’s website, including a description on why the brand dropped their original protein blend for milk and whey. As for those within reach of a Dedicated stockist you can expect to see the reformulated Fusion Pro on shelves soon, if not already.
