Last time we posted about MusclePharm’s energized BCAA 3:1:2 Energy we were able to confirm exactly what sets it apart from the brand’s original BCAA formula. Just as its title suggests, the supplement keeps the 3:1:2 ratio of BCAAs the same at 6g, and adds a bit of energy with 100mg of caffeine and 50mg each of green tea and panax ginseng root. The one thing we didn’t know up until this week was the product’s price, and whether it would be the same or more than the regular BCAA 3:1:2.
Muscle & Strength has now launched the MusclePharm supplement for $19.99, meaning the extra ingredients will cost you roughly 5% extra. Whether or not that’s the kind of difference we’ll see everywhere else we’ll have to wait and see, either way BCAA 3:1:2 Energy does look like it’s going to be a little more than BCAA 3:1:2.
