The results are in from last week’s Protein Wars quarterfinals, with half of the contests finishing with clear winners and the other half coming right down to the wire. The battles that ended with rather large margins were Nutrabio versus Myprotein, and reigning champion MTS Nutrition Machine Whey versus newcomer AI Sports 100% Whey. Surprisingly both winners finished on 61%, with Nutrabio Whey Protein Isolate and MTS Machine Whey moving on to the semifinals.
As for the two much closer contests we had BSN against Muscle Elements, and Rivalus taking on Muscle Sport and the wild card PES. It was Muscle Sport that took out the three-way battle ending on 41%, with Rivalus not far behind on 39% and 20% for PES. While Muscle Sport only beat Rivalus by 2%, Muscle Elements and BSN actually ended up on 50% each as they were separated by less than 1%. In the end it was Muscle Elements and the Truth that prevailed, finishing with an exact total of 50.4%.
The four winners MTS Machine Whey, Nutrabio Whey Protein Isolate, Muscle Sport Lean Whey and Muscle Elements the Truth, are now all up again this week in the semifinals. With the two winners going through to next week’s grand final.
