UPS Protein’s Chocabolic a carb free, high protein chocolate bar

chocabolic

While we weren’t expecting to see UPS Protein’s all new Chocabolic, which it’s been teasing over the past few weeks, until this weekend at the Arnold Australia. Four days out from the event the brand has decided to unveil it, confirming it as a carbohydrate free, high protein chocolate bar. The name was already something we knew however the fact that it’s a carb free, high protein chocolate bar is new information.

With the official unveiling of UPS Protein’s Chocabolic has also come most of its important nutritional details. Packed into each bar is 18g of protein from calcium caseinate and whey isolate, and as mentioned zero carbohydrates. Now we should mention that brands down under do have different label rules for protein bars, with things like fiber not counted as carbohydrates. That is the main reason Chocabolic is being promoted as a carbohydrate free bar, as it is made up of maltitol a type of sugar alcohol that like fiber is non-digestible.

The big question remaining now that Chocabolic has been confirmed as a bar and its macros all look good, is does it taste as good as it sounds? Hopefully we’ll get an answer on that this weekend at the Arnold Australia in Melbourne where we suspect UPS will be sampling its latest innovation.
