Hypermax XT Review: Performax furthers its Hypermax reputation

hypermax xt review

This year we’ve seen more top quality pre-workouts than any other, which has resulted in more new additions to our list of top 10 pre-workouts. Today we have another top quality competitor to talk about with our official Hypermax XT review. The name Hypermax has actually been around for quite some time, although Hypermax XT is Performax Labs’ latest version of it, being launched just three months ago in June.

Like all top rated pre-workouts, Hypermax XT is an all around experience delivering more than just a couple effects. The Performax Labs supplement covers all the areas a pre-workout should with energy, focus, pump, and performance, however it is its energy and focus that really set it apart from the competition.

Strongest energy kick we’ve in some time

We’ll start our Hypermax XT review off by going over the first major effect you feel with the product, and that is its energy. Strangely enough we weren’t quite sure how strong this one was in the beginning, as in our first round we felt it packed a lot more of a punch than expected. After running it against a few of our top rated pre-workouts we soon discovered that it wasn’t a one off, Hypermax XT just has an extremely strong kick.

It’s actually been a while since we felt an energy kick as strong as the one in Hypermax XT, as most of the top supplements we’ve reviewed lately have all had a smooth or gradual boost of energy. There is of course more to the product’s energy after its kick, as that immediate rise in energy does stay relatively consistent for a good amount of your workout. We say a good amount because it doesn’t remain as strong as it is in the beginning through to the end. For us it slowly faded from about the 30 minute mark, although that incredible kick and strength it has at the start more than make up for its drop off.

Smooth amplifying focus

The next major effect we have to talk about in our Hypermax XT review is the supplement’s focus, which is an effect that almost goes hand in hand with energy these days. The focus in this one starts to come on a bit, around the same time the energy kicks in. You may not notice it a whole lot early on, however as you progress through your workout especially when you near the point the energy usually fades, that’s when you’ll realize the product has added to your mental game.

Hypermax XT’s focus effect isn’t exactly on the level of the energy, but it is certainly up there with an above average amount. While it does work well with the energy, we feel it is also overshadowed by it. As mentioned you do notice the enhanced focus and drive a lot more when the supplement’s energy fades. It’s definitely not a bad thing that the focus is a little low when the energy is running high, as that intense energy automatically brings on a next level mindset of its own.

Mild level of pump

The two other pre-workout areas Hypermax XT delivers on are pump and performance. We’ll go with pump first as that is the most impressive of the two, with the product packing just enough to say it’ll help. If we had to give the effect a rating out of five we’d probably put it at around three. You’ll feel the pre-workout working its pump magic after the first 5 to 10 minutes, then from there it’ll be quite obvious that Hypermax XT has a hand in your pump. The effect is less like the massive muscle dilating type and more like the hard and dense kind, which ends up going rather nicely with the supplement’s other star effects.

Lingering energy adds an endurance like feel

Lastly we have the performance and endurance side of Hypermax XT, an area where the product is least impressive. While its performance isn’t as good as its energy, focus, or even pump, it is still an effect that adds to the whole Hypermax XT experience. Like with a lot of high energy formulas, the Performax Labs pre-workout won’t give you a strong level of performance or endurance. If you decide to tackle an overly intense, complex, or heavy type workout, Hypermax XT won’t necessarily hold you back, it just doesn’t boost you along as well as the more performance based pre-workouts such as Muscle Elements PreCre.

With that said the supplement does actually offer a surprisingly solid amount of endurance thanks to its lingering energy. Despite the fact that its energy does fade a bit around the 30-minute mark, it doesn’t completely disappear. It essentially drops to a natural endurance like level that it maintains for another 30 to 45 minutes, which will then allow you to finish the last few exercises in your workout with a good amount of intensity.

High energy, but still a complete pre-workout

As you can see, overall Performax Labs’ still very new Hypermax XT is a solid all around pre-workout competitor. It covers all the necessary areas and excels really well in one or two that end up creating an experience that separates the product from the many others out there. Hypermax XT certainly maintains the strong Hypermax reputation, in fact we would go as far as saying it furthers it. Basically if you’re looking for a top rated pre-workout and you prefer the high energy, stimulating kind, then you will want to pick up a tub of Hypermax XT or at least get a hold of a sample.

Rounded scoop for a little more kick

One more thing we have to add to our Hypermax XT review is serving details. Our best experiences with the supplement were on a bit more than its one scoop maximum. While a single scoop is definitely enough to get everything we mentioned in our review. We ended up preferring a rounded scoop, adding maybe 10% or so, which keeps the pump, performance, and focus the same, but does lift the already strong energy kick a little.
