At the end of every year we take a look back at all that’s happened in the past 12 months and select 10 brands that made a noticeable impact. The 10 are the nominees for our annual Top 5 Brands of the year awards, which we have to announce here for you today. The list includes a number of nominees from last year, in fact 4 of the 10 are being renominated, and 2 of the 10 had a spot in the top 5 of 2015.
If you’ve followed us long enough you’ll know we select the brands based on how consistent they were, as well as how big of an impact they made. We look for things like creativity in formulas, how effective its new releases were, whether or not a brand remained relevant, how consistent it was with new products, and everything in between.
Our 10 names nominated for Top 5 Brands Of 2016, in no specific order are Grenade, the Italian brand 4+ Nutrition, Inspired, MAN Sports, Gaspari Nutrition, Nutrabio, Kodiak, Olympus Labs, the veteran company Muscletech, and Animal. The official announcements for the top 5 will come in the new year in the usual manner, being named one by one across two weeks starting in the first week of January.
