Peanut Butter Cereal Milk Ghost Whey inspired by Cap’N Crunch

Back before Ghost even launched its transparent and Stack3d Certified protein powder Ghost Whey, it was said that the product would have three flavors. The flavors we got early confirmation on were Cereal Milk, Milk Chocolate, and Cookie Butter.

So far the brand has released two of those three with its original Cereal Milk, and Milk Chocolate which launched at the end of last year. Ghost has now revealed that the third flavor of Ghost Whey is going to be its next new release, although it isn’t going to be the previously talked about Cookie Butter.

The next addition to Ghost Whey is actually a spin-off of its first flavor, Cereal Milk, with Peanut Butter Cereal Milk. According to the brand, the recipe was inspired by the popular cereal Cap’N Crunch’s Peanut Butter Crunch.

It is also worth mentioning that Ghost has kept its formula exactly the same as both of its other flavors. The reason that’s important is because when a peanut butter protein is put together and flavored using peanut butter flour, it can add extra protein to its total. A brand can then put in less whey protein or whatever its primary source is, and still meet the amount claimed on the label.

While this is something Ghost says it could have done for its new Cap’N Crunch inspired Peanut Butter Cereal Milk, it hasn’t. Instead, you just get a little extra protein for the same price you’ve always paid for Ghost Whey, which you can see on its facts panel with 26g of protein per serving as opposed to 25g.
