MuscleMaxx keeps it simple for its $15 pre-workout Pre Apocalypse

Pre Apocalypse

MuscleMaxx isn’t a brand we’ve heard anything from for a number of years, but has still definitely been around with its various protein products including the 1,300 calorie Mass Gainer. It seems 2017 is going to be the year where it finally expands its line of supplements, starting with the new, simple pre-workout Pre Apocalypse.

We say MuscleMaxx’s new pre-workout is simple purely because it features a relatively straightforward formula. It comes packed with seven commonly used and transparently dosed pre-workout ingredients, to help with energy, focus, performance, and pumps. While it doesn’t have anything groundbreaking or a fully loaded formula, we do feel it’s somewhat worth the price you can currently get it for.

Simple pre-workout formula

Before we get into the formula behind Pre Apocalypse, we should mention that product’s label does list everything based on a single serving. The maximum the brand recommends you can take however is three servings, so we’ll be going over the ingredients based on what they’d be at Pre Apocalypse’s limit.

Pre Apocalypse

Each 19.2g maximum serving of the new MuscleMaxx pre-workout packs 3.3g of beta-alanine, a light 3g of citrulline malate providing between 1.6 to 2.2g of citrulline. 3g of creatine monohydrate which is 2g short of the more common 5g, 2.1g of taurine, 1.5g of tyrosine, 501mg of arginine AKG, and last but not least, 399mg of caffeine.

Size, flavors, and deals

Pre Apocalypse currently comes in a seemingly large 50 serving tub size, although if you want the maximum doses we listed above you’d divide that by three, dropping it to 16 servings. The pre-workout also comes in two different tastes with Blue Wraithberry and Red Punch Napalm.

Those interested in giving MusceMaxx’s new Pre Apocalypse a try can already purchase it from the likes of Muscle & Strength in the US, and Supplement Source in Canada. Both places actually have sales on the product at the moment with a BOGO at Muscle & Strength making it $15 a tub, and a buy two get one free at Supplement Source making it $26 a tub.
