The German company GN Labs has launched an all-new protein powder for its lineup this week, although it’s not your usual whey or casein formula. The latest from the brand is GN Labs Rice Protein, a vegan-friendly supplement that uses rice protein concentrate as its primary source protein.
While the new GN Labs Rice Protein isn’t your typical whey or casein protein product, it does feature a relatively typical macro combination. Each of its 30g servings provides 23g of protein, 2.9g of carbohydrates with 1.2g of that sugar, 1.3g of fiber, 1.6g of fat (480mg saturated), and a total of 118 calories.
The nutrition numbers listed above are all for GN Labs Rice Protein’s Chocolate flavor, and don’t vary all that much for either of its others, Vanilla and Strawberry. The supplement does, however, have an unflavored option called Neutral, which is slightly leaner in most areas, with 24.7g of protein for 120 calories.
