The first week of the 2017 Protein Wars is complete, and we’re now on to the second lot of competitors for round one over at proteinwars.com. Just like last week, we have 35 protein powders to be voted, with only one from each of the seven groups able to go through to the next round.
We have a number of heavy hitters up this week including supplements that have done well in the past, won the title, or have strong reputations. Cellucor Cor Whey and MTS Machine Whey are up competing, two past Protein Wars champions, along with some still very new products with Patriot’s Whey, Redcon1 Isotope, and Kodiak’s 3Whey.
Of course, now that we’re on to group two of round one, we do have the results from the first group. There were a few close battles with BSN Syntha-6 winning its fight by 7%, Ghost Whey by 8%, and USP Labs’ Modern Protein by 20%.
The other two contests in group one weren’t as close as those above with last year’s two finalists winning their battles by landslides. MAN Sports’ ISO-Protein finished on 76% while Nutrabio’s WPI ended at 72%. If you’d like to see the full list of results, we’ve added all of the competitors and their final percentages below.
