Cellucor switches to no artificial colors or dyes for Purple Frost

purple frost c4 carbonated

Cellucor’s first new flavor for its carbonated C4 energy drink is now out and available over on the brand’s online store at cellucor.com. The new flavor is the purple themed recipe Purple Frost, which actually has a feature to it that none of the other carbonated C4s have.

Unlike the four original C4 energy drink flavors, the all-new Purple Frost does not have any artificial colors or dyes. This is something we saw Cellucor do with the Snow Cone flavor of its carbonated C4 Ultimate, although the feature was not carried over into Ultimate’s other option, Tropical Blast.

Cellucor has confirmed that the move to no artificial colors or dyes for Purple Frost is, in fact, the direction it’s going in moving forward. The brand also plans on eventually changing its other carbonated C4s, so that the entire line will be free of artificial colors or dyes.
