AMI trades $3 million in advertising for shares in MusclePharm

musclepharm ami deal

A rather interesting deal has been announced between the black and green supplement company MusclePharm, and American Media Inc. AMI is the company behind a handful of fitness publications including Muscle & Fitness, Flex, and Hers, and is also the organizer of the Mr. Olympia.

The deal that’s been struck sees AMI trade a massive $3 million in advertising to MusclePharm for over 920,000 shares of common stock. The announcement was originally reported by the New York Post who keeps it short and sweet in its post, and confirms all of the details mentioned above.
