Optimum Nutrition has put together another rather unique product for the protein snack category that once again makes it fun and easy to have protein on-the-go. The latest innovation from the legacy brand is Protein Ridges, which is a delicious looking, high protein chip style snack.

Optimum Nutrition Protein Ridges make it very clear right on its packaging that it is a baked protein product and never fried that’s also gluten-free. The Gold Standard brand is launching the snack in five tasty sounding flavors with Salt & Vinegar, BBQ, Honey Siracha, Sour Cream, and Cheese.

The nutrition profile on Optimum Nutrition’s Protein Ridges has a similar macro balance to a typical protein bar with each bag packing a strong 15g of protein. The rest of the numbers for the Sour Cream flavor are 15g of carbohydrates with 2g of that sugar, 5g of fat, and a calorie count of 170.

The primary protein source in the upcoming Protein Ridges from Optimum Nutrition is whey concentrate with brown rice flour being the next biggest ingredient in the product. When the creative new protein snack eventually hits stores, fans of the brand will be able to pick it up in boxes of ten bags.
