Following the recent release of its new Peak Series exclusive to the Vitamin Shoppe, the experienced supplement company Muscletech has dropped another exclusive line. The name of this family of products is the Prime Series, and as you might have guessed based on that name, it is a set of supplements developed exclusively for Amazon.
Collagen
There are four different products in the Muscletech Prime Series with three of those for mainstream categories while the fourth is for an up and coming area of the market. That not-so-mainstream product is Prime Series Collagen (facts panel below), which is a collagen powder packing 20g of protein per serving from 22g of multi-sourced collagen peptides.
Whey Protein
Alongside the Muscletech Prime Series collagen is another protein powder made from the much more common whey, and is simply called 100% Whey Protein. Each serving of the Prime Series Whey Protein provides 25g of protein from a blend of fast-absorbing whey isolate and whey peptides, in 2 and 5lb tubs, and Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Vanilla Ice Cream flavors.
Amino and Pre
The last two Muscletech Prime Series items are the category named supplements Amino BCAAs and Pre-Workout (facts panels below). The former features a total of 7.2g of aminos including 5g of BCAAs, plus a few ingredients for energy and hydration such as caffeine, electrolytes, and coconut water.
As for Muscletech’s Prime Series Pre-Workout, it is a performance enhancing product with highlights such as 6g of pure citrulline and ViNitrox for better pumps, as well as 350mg of caffeine for energy. It also comes with endurance and muscle building ingredients such as beta-alanine at 3.2g and betaine at 2.5g.

As mentioned, the Muscletech Prime Series is exclusive and only available from the online retail giant Amazon, where a couple of the supplements are already in stock with some very competitive prices. The Prime Series Pre-Workout is currently just $18.99 for a full-size tub with Amino BCAAs at $17.99, and the larger 5lb tub of Prime Series Whey Protein at a strong $43.54.
