Gooey center cake snack joins PhD’s growing family of Smart products

phd nutrition smart protein cake

PhD Nutrition’s Smart Series of healthy snacks and supplements has grown quite a bit over the years and now includes a wide variety of products. There is the original Smart Protein Bar, a high protein flapjack, named Smart Jack, a protein-enriched spread, the vegan Smart Protein Plant, and now PhD’s Smart Protein Cake.

The Smart Protein Cake is a new Smart Series snack now available from PhD Nutrition through its online store at phd.com. It is a dessert-style food featuring a soft, chocolate covered cake with a gooey center that varies in flavor across the product’s four options with Carrot Cake, Jaffa Cake, Birthday Cake, and Salted Caramel.

The macros on PhD Nutrition’s Smart Protein Cake are a strong 15g of protein, a reasonable 23g of carbohydrates, between 1 to 2g of sugar, 10g of fat, and 225 calories. The snack is made with milk protein to give it that high 15g of protein and has various ingredients specific to each flavor, such as cream cheese in the Carrot Cake.

As mentioned, you can pick up PhD Nutrition’s newest Smart Series snack from its website at £23.99 for a box of 12, which works out to £2 per cake. The indulgent Smart Protein Cake will be coming to the UK brand’s usual stores and stockists soon, including the reliable snacking retailer Protein Pick and Mix.
