Strawberry Cheesecake Enlightened ice cream now with actual cheesecake chunks

enlightened strawberry cheesecake ice cream

The frozen functional food company Enlightened has decided to revamp one of the many flavors of its delicious, high protein, and low-calorie ice cream in Strawberry Cheesecake. Like with most revamped products, the brand has only improved its Strawberry Cheesecake protein ice cream, although there is a bit of an understandable trade-off.

Enlightened’s new take on the strawberry cheesecake-flavored frozen treat now features actual chunks of cheesecake, so much so, the product’s calories have gone up 20%. The nutrition profile on the updated flavor provides the same 20g of protein per pint, but 4g each of extra sugar and dietary fiber, and twice the fat with a total of 400 calories.

Fans of Enlightened will be able to find its new Strawberry Cheesecake low-calorie ice cream in the coming months at the likes of Sprouts, Weis, and Schnucks supermarkets. You are going to be able to tell the cheesecake chunk version apart from the original due to its per serving calorie count of ‘100’ on the front, and by its pinker label design.
