XXL Nutrition expands its Ready To Eat line with Atlantic salmon fillets

xxl nutrition ready to eat salmon

One of the more interesting things about the European retailer XXL Nutrition and its own line of products is that it is one of the most diverse you’ll come across. Like a few other companies in Europe, XXL covers more categories than almost all other industry brands, with one of its latest items furthering that diversity in ‘Ready To Eat Salmon’.

The product is exactly what you think it is, with a box of boneless and skinless, Atlantic salmon fillets that are ready to eat. We’re not too sure about how it’s divided up inside the box, but in total, you get 160g of salmon. The nutrition on that is as lean as you’d expect with 18g of protein per 100g of salmon, half a gram of carbohydrates, 10g of fat, and 160 calories.

As different as XXL Nutrition’s Ready To Eat Salmon is, it’s not too out of the ordinary for the company. The retailer already had Ready To Eat Chicken in its lineup, so this is essentially just an extension of that but with a different type of meat. Each box of XXL’s Atlantic salmon fillets cost €2.95 (3.32 USD), which is about 50% more expensive than its box of chicken.
