New amino-based beverage from XXL Nutrition aims to support recovery

The German retailer and supplement brand XXL Nutrition, who was extremely busy in the first half of the year, has dropped another product for 2020 this week, although it’s not a traditional supplement. The latest from the consistently busy XXL is a beverage, and not the typical energy drink, but a beverage that focuses more on supporting muscle recovery and repair.

XXL Nutrition’s new product is named ‘Recov’, and it actually features a look that’s incredibly similar to the popular recovery drink FitAid from the US, regarding colors and symbols. On the formula side, the major brand’s launch this week brings together a variety of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, as mentioned, to support muscle recovery, and without any artificial colors or flavors.

XXL Nutrition’s Recov comes with a full blend of b vitamins, turmeric, and ginger root. It also features a blend of vegan-friendly aminos in arginine, glutamine, taurine, and BCAAs, that combine together for a light 1.6g per can. Lastly, there is a bit of caffeine in the recovery-focused beverage as well, coming from guarana, although it only provides a small amount of caffeine at 40mg.

You can grab the recovery and lightly energizing Recov beverage from XXL Nutrition’s online store with just the one Orange flavor available at the moment with 5.6g of carbohydrates and only 43 calories. The price on the compact and convenient product is €1.99 (2.35 USD) per can, or you can grab a pack of six at the moderately discount cost of €10.95 (12.93 USD).
