South African supplement company Alpha Sports Nutrition has come out with a tasty new flavor this week for its on-the-go, protein-packed bar, the Alpha Bar. The brand’s protein snack comes with a moderate 18 to 19.4g of protein per bar, 7 to 8.5g of net carbohydrates, and a reasonable 233 to 237 calories. Until this week, the Alpha Bar only had two flavors on its menu, both of which are somewhat traditional.

Alpha Sports Nutrition’s newest addition to the Alpha Bar, now sitting alongside its originals Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream and Vanilla Cream Crunch, is a sweet and salty Toffee Caramel Fudge. The macros on this one are around the same as the others with 18.6g of protein from a blend of whey and milk concentrate, 15.2g of carbohydrates with 4.7g of that sugar and 7.1g net carbs, 8.6g of fat, and 233 calories.

The Toffee Caramel Fudge Alpha Bar is already out and available in Alpha Sports Nutrition’s home country of South Africa, including its direct-to-consumer online store. Through the brand’s website, the Alpha Bar is very reasonably priced with an individual price of R28 (1.67 USD) or R310 (18.45 USD) for a box of 12.
