To welcome in the New Year, German brand Foodspring has revamped one of its more popular supplements, in the energy enhanced amino formula, ‘Energy Aminos’. The brand has kept a lot of the core features of the product the same, with only a few changes, including the addition of a handful of vitamins in vitamin c, b3 (niacin), and b12.

On the amino side, Foodspring’s Energy Aminos still packs a full 4g of pure citrulline and 6g of BCAAs at the usual ratio of 2:1:1 of leucine, isoleucine, and valine. The other half of the supplement is where we see the rest of the brand’s tweaks, with significantly less beta-alanine at 450mg instead of 2.6g, and 200mg of caffeine from caffeine anhydrous and guarana, as opposed to only caffeine anhydrous in the original.

As mentioned, the changes Foodspring has made to Energy Aminos are minimal, outside of that almost complete loss of beta-alanine, being lowered by over 80%. The brand has already updated its listing of Energy Aminos on its website, where a tub of just 20 servings costs €34.99 (42.91 USD) in Passionfruit, Ice Tea, Lemon, and Apple flavors.
