Foodspring creates nutritious 5-minute meals for before and after your workout

foodspring fuel

Lifestyle supplement and functional food brand Foodspring has an interesting new family of products out this week, introducing the workout meal packs, Foodspring Fuel. They are compact and convenient 65g pouches for you to make delicious and balanced real food meals out of; all you need to do is mix one with 180ml of hot water, stir, then after letting it sit for five minutes, it’s good to go.

There are two options with Foodspring’s Fuel with the Pasta Pack intended for before your workout and the Rice Pack, suggested for after your workout. While the brand does have these recommendations for when you should eat the Fuel Pasta and Rice Packs, you can enjoy them whenever you want a balanced meal, not necessarily before and after your workout.

Foodspring’s Fuel Pasta Pack is pasta made from durum wheat, combined with tomatoes, sunflower protein, onions, and several herbs and spices, to provide a low 1.6g of fat, 41g of carbohydrates, 10g of protein, and 228 calories. The Fuel Rice Pack is lentils, rice, onions, and again, various herbs and spices, packing a similar balance of macros at 1.3g of fat, 11g of protein, 35g of carbohydrates, and 211 calories.

The Fuel Pasta and Rice Packs from Foodspring are quite unique, even coming from a functional brand. You can purchase either or both of the balanced and nutritious Fuel meal pouches from Foodspring’s online store, and they’re not too expensive. A box of six of either the Pasta or Rice Pack will cost you €14.99 (17.78 USD), working out to about €2.49 (2.95 USD) each.
