Formula 19 is one of the more unique supplements from the hardcore brand Blackstone Labs, coming to market way back in 2015 and is formulated personally by the brand’s president, PJ Braun. It is a carbohydrate-heavy product, featuring a hefty 50g of carbohydrates per serving, alongside a few other ingredients to support muscle recovery and repair.

For 2021, after being on the market for almost six years, Blackstone Labs has reformulated Formula 19 with a minor tweak, keeping everything the same except for one ingredient. The supplement still has 50g of carbohydrates per serving, a solid 5g of leucine, a combined 10g of glutamine and MgGG, but no longer includes alpha lipoic acid, previously at 200mg.

Another major change in Blackstone Labs’ Formula 19 is its value. When the product originally came to market, it was $44.99 for a tub of 15 servings, while the 2021 edition is 33% more at $59.99; however, you get twice the servings at 30. The supplement is available from Blackstone’s website in Black Currant, Pineapple, Fruit Punch, and Mandarin Orange flavors.
