After a fun first round of voting where we had over 60 products in the running, we are on to the second round or Quarterfinals of this year’s energy drink showdown, Clash Of The Cans. It was an interesting and highly competitive all-out battle last week, with many of the beverages that made it through in 2020 progressing into the second round this year.
While we are meant to take the top 16 from round one for the Clash Of The Cans Quarterfinals, we had two products come in equal, so one of the groups in round two has five energy drinks instead of four. You can see the entries in the Quarterfinals over at clashofthecans.com, where you can now submit your votes at a maximum of once per group.
Like with our Protein Wars competition last year, we have implemented email verification for the Quarterfinals of Clash Of The Cans. Basically, you just need to enter your vote, then confirm it with the email address you type in. It is a nice and easy way to make the contest a little more secure and fair, which we found out first hand in the 2020 Protein Wars.
Both of our past champions have progressed into the second round, with C4 Energy winning the first Clash Of The Cans in 2019 and Reign Total Body Fuel taking it home in 2020.
