Since his retirement, there have been mentions of legendary bodybuilder and 2008 Mr. Olympia Dexter Jackson coming out with his very own line of supplements, and this week it has finally arrived. It is called Dexter Jackson Signature Series, similar to Ronnie Coleman Signature Series from, of course, Ronnie Coleman, and it has started with quite a few products.
Dexter Jackson Signature Series has launched with 14 different supplements, although while that does sound like a large amount, many of them are simple, straightforward products. The basic side of the brand includes standalone essentials in glutamine, omega-3, creatine, arginine, liquid carnitine, CLA, BCAA, and the slightly more complex Multi Vitamin and Joint Support.
The more advanced supplements from Dexter Jackson and his fresh new brand belong to the popular protein powder and pre-workout categories. For the world of protein, Dexter Jackson Signature Series has three products, a premium whey isolate, a more cost-effective blend-style formula powered by a variety of whey sources, and the calorie-dense Legend Mass.
The last two entries in the brand are pre-workouts and are both stimulant-powered with Energizer and Legend Pump. The former is the simpler of the two supplements, combining beta-alanine, caffeine, arginine, a very light 300mg of tyrosine, and ornithine. Legend Pump is significantly more loaded than Energizer, featuring more respectable dosages.
We’ve added the facts panel for Legend Pump in the image above, including 6g of citrulline malate and a gram of agmatine for pumps, and taurine and 3.2g of beta-alanine to support performance. Then, for energy and focus, there is 50mg of theobromine, 75mg of synephrine, and 350mg of caffeine, 250mg from caffeine anhydrous, and the rest from long-lasting di-caffeine malate.
