Legacy brand Musashi gets into energy drinks with a more performance type formula

musashi energy drink

Legacy Australian supplement company Musashi has released an energy drink, something we’ve seen many other sports nutrition brands do over the past few years, including the likes of Ghost, Performix, and Applied Nutrition. The product is simply named “Musashi Energy”, and it features a more performance and pre-workout type formula as opposed to your typical anytime energy drink.

Each can of Musashi Energy has a light one gram of BCAAs to support muscle recovery and 1.2g of beta-alanine, which is obviously far from the usual 3.2g in many pre-workouts. Also included in the performance beverage is 300mg of n-acetyl-l-tyrosine, a slightly more impressive 3g of citrulline malate for pumps, B vitamins, and lastly, caffeine to increase energy at a reasonable 160mg.

Musashi has been rolling out its energy drink debut over the past month or so with three flavors to choose from, all of them nutritionally friendly with no sugar, fat, or protein, under a gram of carbohydrates, and just two calories. The three flavors you can find on shelves at the moment are a Blue Raspberry, Purple Grape, and Fruit Crush, and can be purchase individually and in cases of 12.
