Myprotein continues the refreshing fruity protein trend into the mass gainer market

Myprotein Clear Whey Gainer

The trend of fruity, refreshing-flavored protein powder has gone through many different brands, and in some lineups, it’s extended beyond the usual whey isolate-based supplement. We’ve seen companies continue that fruit theme in plant-based protein powders and high-calorie gainers, which is something the giant international brand Myprotein recently decided to do.

Clear Whey Gainer is a mass gainer from Myprotein that comes packed full of protein, carbohydrates, and calories, although, like the brand’s other “Clear” named proteins, it comes in refreshing flavors instead of the more milkshake-style options. Myprotein has launched Clear Whey Gainer in four fruity flavors with Apple, Orange and Mango, Pineapple, and Raspberry Lemonade.

All of those options have 15 servings per bag, with each serving providing 37g of protein from hydrolyzed whey isolate, 69g of carbohydrates primarily from maltodextrin and potato starch, a low 2g of that sugar, 7g of fat, and 489 calories. The supplement is classed as a mass gainer, although with the protein to carbohydrate reasonably close, it’s definitely more of a lean gainer.

Myprotein has Clear Whey Gainer available for purchase at myprotein.com in those four fruity flavors mentioned above with bags of 15 servings priced at £42.99 (57.12 USD). The brand is currently running a sale, which brings the price down a fair bit, with 35% off any order amount, 40% off if your order totals £25, and 40% off £45+, all activated using the coupon code “MORE”.
