Introducing Odyssey and its mushroom-driven sparkling, coffee and tea drinks

Odyssey Mushroom Elixirs Sparkling

Odyssey is one of the many newer functional beverage brands to come to market over the past year or so; in fact, Odyssey is not even a year old, beginning its journey in June of last year. It is also not your typical drink brand with a line of products designed to support the usual energy and focus effects, although they are all made using a variety of mushroom extracts.

Odyssey’s collection of beverages is led by the sparkling drink Energy + Focus, featuring lion’s mane and cordyceps at a combined 2.5g, plus ginseng and theanine. Caffeine is in the product as well by way of 85mg natural caffeine from green tea, with everything rolling together to support the two key benefits in the beverage’s name of Odyssey Energy + Focus.

Alongside Energy + Focus, Odyssey has canned coffee and tea drinks with slightly different ingredients. The Odyssey coffee has 1.25g of lion’s mane and cordyceps, combined into a familiar coffee experience. As for Odyssey tea, that has slightly different ingredients again, featuring ashwagandha, reishi, and turkey tail in the mood-boosting variant, and reishi, maitake, turkey tail, chaga, and shiitake in the immunity version.

Odyssey Mushroom Elixirs Coffee

The infusion of mushroom extracts to make mushroom elixirs and mushroom brews, as Odyssey calls them, is quite an interesting twist. It is a nice change of pace from the many newcomers who rely on similar ingredients to support energy and health. The macros on the products are also fairly reasonable, with only 20 calories in the sparkling Energy + Focus beverage and 35 calories in the tea, but a high 140 in the coffee.

You can get a closer look at all of the Odyssey functional drinks through its website, where you can purchase anything from the lineup too. The eye-catching Energy + Focus, coffee, and tea all cost the same at $15.99 for a pack of four and $47.99 for a case of 12. There are variety packs too, with sets of the Energy + Focus flavors, and the coffee and tea beverages.
