European snack specialist ä, more commonly referred to as Nano Supps, has released another bar format protein snack, separate from its delicious KitKat-like Protein Snap and the not as impressive Protein Bar. The latest Nano Supps snack is Protein Wafer, which again is separate from Protein Snap but has a similar light and crispy texture thanks to its wafer-built body.
Nano Supps Protein Wafer covers that light and airy layered wafer body with delicious milk chocolate, and of course, true to its name, the product has a high-protein nutrition profile. The bar itself tips the scales at just 40g, so it doesn’t have room for macros like a 60g bar with 8.4g of protein, 11g of carbohydrates with 1.5g of that sugar, 14g of fat, and a calorie count of 201.
The product looks a lot like Novo Nutrition’s signature Protein Wafer in terms of weight, shape, and build, although it doesn’t have quite as much protein at that 8.4g. Nano Supps Protein Wafer is out and available starting this month in its local European market in only one Chocolate flavor to begin with, and two typical size options, a single 40g bar or a box of a dozen bars.
